These supplementary exercises include comprehension and vocabulary questions to reinforce your understanding of the readings in each chapter of Gateway to Canada. The exercises can be done independently or with a friend. In addition to the comprehension and vocabulary questions, you'll find three to five open discussion questions. You are encouraged to find a conversation partner—a fellow ESL learner or a native speaker—and discuss some of the topics that you've read about.
